The 144k Collective Spreads Its Reach Worldwide via The Nexten Summit

Collaboration, Innovation, and a New Chapter Ahead

In early December 2025, Dakar, Senegal hosted one of the most exciting gatherings of global innovators, founders, and changemakers โ€” the NEXTEN Summit. With over 5,000 participants, 200+ speakers, and 100+ emerging startups from around the world, the event was designed to spark connections, showcase emerging technologies, and amplify solutions that drive sustainable, inclusive impact.

It was our honor to represent 144k Collective at this groundbreaking summit โ€” not just as attendees, but as contributors, exhibitors, and voices in the evolving global dialogue on collective action, ethical innovation, and community-powered economic models.

Team 144k: A Unified Presence in Dakar

Our delegation included six remarkable partners whose expertise spans brand strategy, creative development, technology, and community influence:

  • Adrian Rhodes โ€” Director of Brand Management
  • Kirbie Speights โ€” Brand Champion & Company Secretary
  • Maria Flores โ€” Partner
  • Shakara Weston โ€” Board Member, Ninth Ward Productions Co-Founder, co-developer of iMused.ai
  • Vernique Sibert โ€” Partner & Brand Ambassador

Together we showcased iMused.ai, the ethical AI music platform designed to ensure royalties flow back to creators โ€” a project that resonated strongly with the NEXTEN audience.

iMused.ai: Live Creation, Global Response

At the exhibit booth, iMused.ai captured attention with demonstrations of real-time music creation. Attendees from diverse cultural backgrounds engaged with the platform, generating original songs on the spot in multiple languages including French, Wolof, and Romanian.

The response was overwhelmingly positive. Many participants expressed excitement not only about the technology itself, but about its underlying values โ€” fairness, transparency, and creator ownership. The showcase sparked meaningful dialogue around equitable creative economies, inclusive technology, and the role AI can play when guided by ethical frameworks.

Contributing to Global Dialogue: Panel on AI Policy & Digital Strategy

Beyond the exhibition floor, 144k Collective also contributed to the summitโ€™s policy and governance discussions. I had the honor of serving as a panelist on โ€œAI Policies & National Digital Strategies,โ€ a session focused on how governments and institutions can design responsible, forward-looking frameworks for AI adoption.

The panel brought together distinguished leaders from across sectors:

  • Mark Luetzelschwab, Senior Advisor, Agilix Labs, Inc.
  • Baidy Sall, Senior Consultant, IBM GBS
  • Melyn Campbell, CEO, VGA
  • Jay Davis, CEO, 144k Collective

The discussion was expertly moderated by Malina Lucia Turcut, Top 100 Young Entrepreneurs of 2022, who guided a thoughtful exchange on governance, innovation, and the future of digital transformation.

Our conversation explored how nations can balance innovation with accountability, ensure inclusive participation in digital economies, and build AI strategies that serve people โ€” not just markets. The dialogue reinforced the importance of aligning policy, technology, and community values as AI continues to shape global systems.

Stepping into the Spotlight: Keynote Opportunity

Originally slated to deliver a Masterclass our “CROWD POWERED” framework โ€” I was unexpectedly elevated to Keynote Speaker on Day 2 of the Summit.

This moment was meaningful not only on a personal level, but as a reflection of 144k Collectiveโ€™s growing role in global conversations about collective action, ethical innovation, and systems design.

In the keynote, I spoke about the power of collaborative frameworks to solve complex challenges, emphasizing the need to design systems where participation is rewarded and value flows back to contributors. Feedback from attendees and fellow speakers confirmed that the message resonated deeply, particularly among innovators focused on systems change, decentralized participation, and ethical design.

Recognition & Future Partnership with NEXTEN

In a powerful signal of shared vision and mutual trust, I was invited to join the NEXTEN Summit Board of Directors for 2026 โ€” an incredible honor and an opportunity for deeper collaboration.

While future plans with NEXTEN are still being finalized, board meetings begin later this month, with promising opportunities ahead. We look forward to contributing to program design, speaker curation, and collaborative initiatives that align with our mission: building frameworks that equitably amplify creators, communities, and innovators worldwide.

Why NEXTEN Matters โ€” and Whatโ€™s Ahead

The NEXTEN Summit is more than a conference. It is an ecosystem โ€” a catalyst for conversations that bridge cultures, sectors, and continents. From ethical AI platforms to policy dialogue and creative innovation, the summit models what global collaboration can achieve when diverse voices are not only invited, but centered.

For 144k Collective, this experience reaffirmed core principles we continue to build upon:

  • Collective frameworks unlock transformational outcomes
  • Ethical innovation creates sustainable advantage
  • Creators deserve systems that reward value โ€” not extract it
  • Global collaboration drives equitable, lasting solutions

As we look toward 2026 and beyond, we are energized by the relationships formed, the ideas exchanged, and the work still to come.

Stay tuned โ€” weโ€™re just getting started.
